Claudio Imhof
Claudio Imhof (born 26 September 1990) is a Swiss road and track cyclist, who most recently rode for UCI Continental team . As a junior, he won the gold medal in the scratch at the 2008 UEC European Track Championships. He competed at the 2011 and 2012 UCI Track Cycling World Championships. At the European championships he won the silver medal in the Men's madison at the 2011 UEC European Track Championships together with Cyrille Thièry and the bronze medal in the points race at the 2015 UEC European Track Championships in Grenchen, Switzerland. 2015 UEC European Track Championships
The 2015 UEC European Track Championships was the sixth edition of the elite UEC European Track Championships in track cycling and took place at the Velodrome Suisse in Grenchen, Switzerland, between 14 and 18 October. The Event was organised by the European Cycling Union. All European champions are awarded the UEC European Champion jersey which may be worn by the champion throughout the year when competing in the same event at other competitions. The Cycling at the 2016 Summer Olympics#Track cycling, 10 Olympic events (sprint, team sprint, team pursuit, keirin and omnium for men and women), as well as 11 other events are on the program for these European Championships. 2020 European Road Championships
The 2020 European Road Cycling Championships was the 26th running of the European Road Cycling Championships that took place from 24 to 28 August 2020 in Plouay, France. The event consisted of a total of 6 road races and 7 time trials. Location On 10 June 2019, it was announced that Trentino, Italy would host this event from 9 to 13 September 2020. However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic in Italy, the UEC and Trentino officials decided to postpone the city's hosting of the event to 2021. It was later announced in July that Plouay, France would step up to host the event from 24 to 28 August 2020, with the city also hosting the French National Road Race and Time Trial Championships the week prior, as well as the Bretagne Classic and GP de Plouay – Bretagne on 25 and 26 August, respectively. The European Track Cycling Championships (under-23 & junior) are a set of competition events held annually for the various disciplines and distances in track cycling, exclusively for European cyclists under the ages of 23 and 18, and regulated by the European Cycling Union (UEC). They were first held in their current format in 2010, when a competition for elite level cyclists was devised and held for the first time following an overhaul of European track cycling. Prior to 2010, similar age group championships were held for many years under the title of European Track Championships, a title now used solely for the elite championships. The UCI Junior Track Cycling World Championships (named the UCI Juniors Track World Championships before 2016) are a set of world championship events for junior riders, for various disciplines and distances in track cycling and are regulated by the Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI).
