Claude Péloquin (1942 – 25 November 2018) was a Québécois poet, writer, singer, songwriter, screenwriter, and director. Péloquin published more than twenty books of poetry. Robert Charlebois
Robert Charlebois, OC, OQ (born June 25, 1944) is a Québecois author, composer, musician, performer and actor. Charlebois was born in Montreal, Quebec. Among his best known songs are ''Lindberg'' (the duo with Louise Forestier in particular), ''Ordinaire'', ''Les Ailes d'un Ange'' and ''Je reviendrai à Montréal''. His lyrics, often written in joual, are funny, relying upon plays on words. He won the Sopot International Song Festival in 1970. In 1970 he sang with Italian singer Patty Pravo the Italian song ''La solitudine''. In the same year, he performed at the Festival Express train tour in Canada, but did not appear on the documentary film. In 1968, he had an acting role in Jean Pierre Lefebvre's film '' Straight to the Heart (Jusqu'au cœur)''. ''Lindberg'' is an album by Robert Charlebois and Louise Forestier, released in 1968. The album was originally released as ''Robert Charlebois avec Louise Forestier'', but came to be better known as ''Lindberg'' after its most famous and influential song (#13 RPM CanCon chart). Most follow-up reissues of the album used the ''Lindberg'' title, although the version currently available for sale on iTunes and streaming on Spotify restores the original eponymous title. The Félix Award (french: Trophée Félix or Prix Félix) is an award, given by the ''Association du disque, de l'industrie du spectacle québécois'' (ADISQ) on an annual basis to artists working in the music and humor industry in the Canadian province of Quebec. The award The first Félix awards were presented on September 23, 1979. The idea belonged to the first president of ADISQ, Gilles Talbot. The award trophy was created by Marc-André Parisé.
