''Classic Now'' is a program that aired on ESPN Classic between August 2005 and March 31, 2006. The show was hosted by Josh Elliott from a studio in New York City rented by K2 Productions. ''Classic Now'' mixed interviews with sportswriters and analysts on current sports topics with flashbacks of past sporting events. The show aired at 7 p.m. Eastern time Monday through Friday. ESPN Classic
ESPN Classic was an American multinational pay television network owned by ESPN Inc., a joint venture between The Walt Disney Company (which owns a controlling 80% stake) and Hearst Communications (which owns 20%). The channel was originally launched as the Classic Sports Network in 1995, and was acquired by ESPN in 1997. The network originally focused on carrying classic sporting events, other programs and documentaries, and live specials (such as the Baseball Hall of Fame induction ceremony) focusing on sports history. Josh Elliott
Josh Elliott is an American television journalist who most recently worked for CBS News. He has previously worked as the news anchor for ABC's ''Good Morning America'', a sports anchor for NBC Sports and ''Today'', and was a co-anchor for the live telecast of ESPN's morning edition of ''SportsCenter''. Early life and education Elliott was born to Susan, who gave Elliott up for adoption. He was adopted by Charles Elliott and Toni Jordan and grew up in Los Angeles, California. When he was 13, his father came out as gay at the time of his parents' divorce. His father died when Elliott was 15. K, or k, is the eleventh letter in the Latin alphabet, used in the modern English alphabet, the alphabets of other western European languages and others worldwide. ''Pardon the Interruption'' (abbreviated ''PTI'') is an American sports talk television show that airs weekdays on various ESPN TV channels. It is hosted by Tony Kornheiser and Michael Wilbon, who discuss, and frequently argue over, the top stories of the day in "sports... and other stuff" (as Kornheiser put it in the show's original promo). For thirteen years Tony Reali also appeared as the statistician and correcting errors that Mike and Tony made. The show premiered on November 4, 2002, as a replacement for ''Unscripted with Chris Connelly'', and has aired daily at 5:00 p.m. Eastern Time Zone, ET on ESPN ever since.
