Classic 8 Conference
The Classic 8 Conference, also known as the C8C, is a high school athletic conference made up of 9 teams in southeastern Wisconsin. The Classic 8 Conference is a member of the WIAA. The conference is one of the newer conferences in the WIAA, having been formed in 1997. The conference has schools that participate in such sports as lacrosse, field hockey, alpine skiing, boys ice hockey, girls ice hockey, and cross-country skiing. Waukesha South High School
Waukesha South High School is one of three high schools located in Waukesha, Wisconsin. It was opened in 1957 as a southern campus to Waukesha High School, then in downtown Waukesha. The downtown campus is now Les Paul Middle School - Central Campus. History Waukesha South High School Shooting On December 2, 2019, a school shooting took place in which a student armed with a pellet gun was wounded by a police officer. Heavy Police Presence at Waukesha South On December 2–3, 2021, almost two weeks after the Waukesha Christmas Parade Tragedy, there was a heavy police presence at Waukesha South due to physical altercations between students. This situation was immediately responded by school faculty and administration, as well as the Waukesha Police Department. West De Pere High School
West De Pere High School is one of two public high schools in De Pere, Wisconsin, USA. Built in 1960, it serves students in the 9th to the 12th grade. The school's mascot is the Phantom. The Phantoms compete in the Bay Conference. History In 2018, a referendum passed to add a second-story addition to the high school. The referendum has been somewhat controversial because of the needed increase in taxes to pay for the expansion. The Kimberly High School in Kimberly, Wisconsin, is a public high school that enrolls around 1,600 students. It is the only high school in the Kimberly Area School District. Homestead High School is a four-year public high school located in Mequon, Wisconsin, United States, a northern suburb of Milwaukee. Part of the Mequon-Thiensville School District, it serves a area including the city of Mequon and the village of Thiensville. The school opened in 1959 and educates nearly 1,300 students annually. The school was first established in 1955 to serve students from the city of Monona and the village and town of Cottage Grove and formerly served students from Town of Blooming Grove. Ashwaubenon High School
Ashwaubenon High School is a public high school located in Ashwaubenon, Wisconsin. A community pool and performing arts center are also housed within the school. History In 2008, the school made national and international headlines after it was discovered that a 33-year old mother of two named Wendy Anne Brown had disguised herself as her teenage daughter and enrolled as a sophomore, attending classes for one day and being admitted to the cheerleading program before being caught by the police and charged with identity theft. Oshkosh North High School
Oshkosh North High School is a public secondary/high school located in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. Part of the Oshkosh Area School District, the school serves students in grades 9 through 12. As of 2021, there are 1,193 students enrolled at the school. It is referred to by students as "North". The facility holds an in-house TV studio, swimming pool, field house with Weight Room, and an auditorium. Appleton West High School (or AWHS, formerly known as Appleton Senior High School or Appleton High School) is a comprehensive public secondary school located in Appleton, Wisconsin that serves students in the ninth through twelfth grades. New Berlin West High School
New Berlin West Middle/High School is a public middle/high school located in New Berlin, Wisconsin. It is a part of the School District of New Berlin. The school serves grades 7 through 12. The school colors are blue and gold, and the school mascot is the Viking. From 2001 through 2007, the school underwent major construction, including a new theater, a new fieldhouse with an indoor track and tennis courts, an upgraded and relocated library, and a new 10-classroom wing.
