Clarke Rosenberg
Clarke Rosenberg ( he, קלארק רוזנברג; born April 13, 1993) is an American basketball player who currently plays for Ironi Nahariya of the Liga Leumit (basketball), Israeli Basketball National League and the Balkan International Basketball League, Balkan League. He plays the Guard (basketball), guard position. Personal life Rosenberg was born in Evanston, Illinois, and raised in Skokie, Illinois. He is the son of Jason and Sheila Rosenberg. His father Jason was born to Jewish parents, including Clarke's paternal grandmother, Irma Rosenberg. Clarke became a dual American-Israeli citizen in 2015. Basketball career At Evanston Township High School ('11), playing for the Wildkits, Rosenberg averaged 15 points, six rebounds, four assists, and three steals a game in his final season. In the sport of basketball, there are five players play per team, each assigned to positions. Historically, these players have been assigned, to positions defined by the role they play on the court, from a strategic point of view. The three main positions are guard, forward, and center, with the standard team featuring two guards, two forwards, and a center. Over time, as more specialized roles developed, each of the guards and forwards came to be differentiated, and today each of the five positions are known by unique names, each of which has also been assigned a number: point guard (PG) or 1, the shooting guard (SG) or 2, the small forward (SF) or 3, the power forward (PF) or 4, and the center (C) or 5. Chicago State University (CSU) is a predominantly black public university in Chicago, Illinois. Founded in 1867 as the Cook County Normal School, it was an innovative teachers college.
