Clark Carter
Clark Carter (born 1984) is an Australian explorer and filmmaker. Clark Carter and Chris Bray became the first recorded people to walk across Victoria Island in the Arctic Archipelago. Carter is a member of the "Society for Human Performance in Extreme Environments". Education Carter is a Film Studies graduate of UNSW Sydney B.Arts (Media and Communications) majoring in film. Career At 21 years old, Carter attempted to cross Victoria Island in the Arctic. The exploration was cut short because of weather and other calamities. Carter returned with his partner Chris Bray and completed the crossing. The pair filmed both of the expeditions and the film was made into a documentary. Wilsons Promontory
Wilsons Promontory, is a peninsula that forms the southernmost part of the Australian mainland, located in the state of Victoria. South Point at is the southernmost tip of Wilsons Promontory and hence of mainland Australia. Located at nearby South East Point, () is the Wilsons Promontory Lighthouse. Most of the peninsula is protected by the Wilsons Promontory National Park and the Wilsons Promontory Marine National Park. Human history Wilsons Promontory was first occupied by indigenous Koori people at least 6,500 years prior to European arrival.
