"Clara veut la Lune" (Clara wants the Moon) is the third single from the album ''Elles & Lui'' by the French singer Alain Chamfort featuring French recording artist Alizée. The single is a re-release of the same song in celebration of Chamfort's career. Composition "Clara veut la Lune" contains the same lyric as the original song but with a very Electro rhythm style of music, referring to the more powerful tone of the earlier and the lighter vocal touch of the latter version. The song was produced by Olivier Schulteis, Jean-pierre Pilot and William Rousseau, and written by Alain Chamfort and Jacques Duvall. Alain Chamfort (born Alain Joseph Yves Le Govic; 2 March 1949) is a French singer of Breton origin. Life and career Chamfort was a promising pianist in his youth, and the piano became his instrument of choice. His first band The Dreamers had minor success as a repertory jazz outfit, and was followed by a typically sixties rock music group Murator. Chamfort met famed writer and producer Jacques Dutronc, who proposed to help him with future works for television and film, and it is with Dutronc that Chamfort's career expanded. William Rousseau is a French singer and composer. Biography William Rousseau moved to Paris in 2002 and signed as a composer for Warner.
