Claes-Ulrik Winberg
Claes-Ulrik Winberg (23 September 1925 – 31 May 1989) was a Swedish industrialist and business executive. He was CEO of AB Bofors from 1972 to 1984. He was also chairman of the Swedish Iron Industry Association ( sv, Järnbruksförbundet) from 1978 to 1983 and of the Swedish Employers Association from 1984 to 1985. Winberg was forced to resign his position as chairman of the Swedish Employers Association in 1984, following the unveiling of the Bofors scandal. Career Winberg was born in Copenhagen, Denmark, the son of major Karl Winberg and his wife Nellie (née Møller). He passed ''studentexamen'' in Jönköping in 1944 and studied at the Royal Swedish Naval Academy in the end of the 1940s and graduated from Technical University of Denmark with a Master of Engineering degree in 1952. RBS 70
RBS 70 (Robotsystem 70) is a man-portable air-defense system (MANPADS) designed for anti-aircraft warfare in all climate zones and with little to no support from other forces. Originally designed and manufactured by the Swedish defence firm of Bofors Defence (now Saab Bofors Dynamics, since 2000). It uses the RB 70 missile which is also in use in a number of other Swedish missile systems. The Swedish Peace and Arbitration Society (SPAS) ( sv, Svenska freds- och skiljedomsföreningen) is a non-governmental organization in Sweden, dedicated to peace, disarmament and democratization. National Swedish Board of Economic Defence ( sv, Överstyrelsen för ekonomiskt försvar, ÖEF) was a central Swedish government agency for the supply issues during war-time. The board was established in 1962 and replaced the National Swedish Commission of Economic Defence (''Rikskommissionen för ekonomisk försvarsberedskap''), a government agency established in 1928.
