Civitas (movement)
Civitas, also known as France Jeunesse Civitas and Institut Civitas, is an association generally considered to be a Traditionalist Catholic, integrist, French nationalism, nationalist, and of the extreme right. The association defines itself as a "Traditionalist Catholic lobby group". The group was once associated with the Society of St. Pius X but it has evolved under the new leadership of Alain Escada and the "chaplaincy" is now provided by Capuchin Friars of Morgon. History Civitas was formed in 1999. It, and ICHTUS, were split out from the integrist Cité catholique movement. founded by the pro-Vichy France, Vichy intellectual Jean Ousset. Cité Catholique
The Cité Catholique is a Traditionalist Catholic organisation created in 1946 by Jean Ousset, originally a follower of Charles Maurras (founder of the monarchist ''Action Française'' in 1899) and Jean Masson (1910–1965), not to be confused (as F. Vichy France (french: Régime de Vichy; 10 July 1940 – 9 August 1944), officially the French State ('), was the fascist French state headed by Marshal Philippe Pétain during World War II. Officially independent, but with half of its territory occupied under harsh terms of the armistice, it adopted a policy of collaboration with Nazi Germany, which occupied the northern and western portions before occupying the remainder of Metropolitan France in November 1942. New Belgian Front (FNB, french: Front Nouveau de Belgique) is a Belgian nationalist political party. The FNB was founded in 1996 by Marguerite Bastien, a former member of the Liberal Reformist Party (''Parti réformateur libéral'') and a candidate for the National Front (''Front National'') in the 1995 elections, but she was expelled from that party somewhat later. Belgian Nationalism
Belgian nationalism, sometimes pejoratively referred to as Belgicism (; ), is a nationalist ideology. In its modern form it favours the reversal of federalism and the creation of a unitary state in Belgium. The ideology advocates reduced or no autonomy for the Flemish Community who constitute Flanders, the French Community of Belgium and the German-speaking Community of Belgium who constitute Wallonia and the Brussels-Capital Region which is inhabited by both Walloons and Flemings, and the dissolution of the regional counterparts of each ethnic group within Belgium.
