City Heights is located south of Mission Valley and northeast of Balboa Park. Abraham Klauber
Abraham Klauber (January 24, 1831 in Poleň, Zdeslav, Bohemia – July 23, 1911 in San Diego, California) was an American entrepreneur. Life was the grandson of Rabbi Moses Klauber, and the son of Jacob and Elizabeth Klauber. Abraham's father died of cholera in 1844, leaving 13-year-old Abraham as the sole support for both his mother and younger sister Mary. He immediately went to work for a merchant named Mandlebaum, as a clerk in his grocery.
