''Citizen John'' is the eighteenth studio album by Australian blues rock band, The Black Sorrows. The album was released on 29 March 2019. Upon announcement of the album, lead singer Joe Camilleri said "This is the album... is the hardest album I've ever made, on many levels", adding: "It's about moving forward. To me, it's always about moving forward. It's all very nice to get a pat on the back and 'Hey I saw you in '78,' but I want people to judge me on this album." The album will be supported with an Australian tour from February to April, then Europe from April to May 2019. The Black Sorrows
The Black Sorrows are an Australian blues rock band formed in 1983 by mainstay vocalist Joe Camilleri (ex-Jo Jo Zep & The Falcons), who also plays saxophone and guitar. ''Faithful Satellite'' is the seventeenth studio album by Australian blues rock band, The Black Sorrows. The album was initially released on CD and digital download on September 16, 2016; followed by a limited-edition double vinyl followed on September 30, 2016. The vinyl included eight tracks exclusively. Reception In a review for Stack Magazine, Jeff Jenkins wrote "''Faithful Satellite'' traverses bluegrass, blues, rockabilly, reggae, rock, gospel, and soul. 'Camilleri' is known for the vitality in his lyrics". "Silvio" is a folk rock song written by Bob Dylan and Robert Hunter and released by Dylan as the seventh track (or second song on Side 2) of his 1988 album ''Down in the Groove''. Performed alongside the Grateful Dead, the song was released as the album's only single and spent eight weeks on ''Billboard'''s Mainstream Rock chart, peaking at #5 on July 1, 1988. The song became a staple of Dylan's live shows during the Never Ending Tour and was later anthologized on the albums ''Bob Dylan's Greatest Hits Volume 3'' in 1994, '' The Essential Bob Dylan'' in 2000 and ''Dylan'' in 2007. Joseph Vincent Camilleri, (born 21 May 1948) aka Jo Jo Zep or Joey Vincent, is a Maltese Australian singer-songwriter and musician. Camilleri has recorded as a solo artist and as a member of Jo Jo Zep & The Falcons and The Black Sorrows. Jo Jo Zep & The Falcons' highest-charting single was "Hit & Run" from June 1979, which peaked at #12; NOTE: Used for Australian Singles and Albums charting from 1970 until ARIA created their own charts in mid-1988.
