Ciro Polito
Ciro Polito (born 12 April 1979) is an Italian footballer who played as a goalkeeper. As of 2017, he has worked as technical director of Juve Stabia. Career Salernitana Ciro Polito began his football career with the youth system of Salerno based club, Salernitana Sport, in the mid-1990s, and began to earn senior call-ups in 1997. Despite often being called up during the 1997–98 season, Polito was loaned out to Rimini for the 1998–99 season, and managed to earn a starting position for much of the season. With the club, Polito made 29 league appearances and returned to Salerno in 1999, but the young goalkeeper never earned a senior debut for his near-hometown club. In July 1999 he was involved in a swap deal with Lucchese. The deal saw Lorenzo Squizzi move in the opposite direction, with both players joining their new clubs in a co-ownership deal. Lega Pro Prima Divisione was the third highest football (soccer), football league in Italy. It consisted of 33 teams, divided geographically into two divisions of 16 and 17 teams for group A and B respectively. Until 2008 it was known as Serie C1. Before the 1978–79 season there were only three leagues of professional football in Italy, the third being Serie C. In 1978, it was decided to split Serie C into Serie C1 and Serie C2. Serie C2, the fourth highest professional league in the Italian system, was also renamed in 2008 and was called Lega Pro Seconda Divisione. Paolo Acerbis
Paolo Domenico Acerbis (born 5 May 1981) is an Italian footballer, who plays as a goalkeeper for Eccellenza club S.S.D. Mapello. He also played for professional club Livorno in Serie A, as well as AlbinoLeffe, Triestina, Catania and Vicenza. He was suspended from 2012 to 2014. Since January 2015 Acerbis had played for several non fully professional clubs in Serie D and in Eccellenza Lombardy. Silvio Baldini (born 11 September 1958 in Massa) is an Italian association football manager, last in charge of Serie B club Perugia. Career Early years Born in Massa but hailing from nearby Carrara, Baldini started his coaching career in 1984 at the age of 26 with Bagnone, an amateur Seconda Categoria team which he led to immediate promotion in his debut year. Pescara (; nap, label= Abruzzese, Pescàrë; nap, label= Pescarese, Piscàrë) is the capital city of the Province of Pescara, in the Abruzzo region of Italy.
