The Circling Raven Championship is a tournament on the Epson Tour, the LPGA's developmental tour. It has been a part of the tour's schedule since 2020. It is held at Circling Raven Golf Club near Worley, Idaho, owned and operated by the Coeur d'Alene Tribe. Circling Raven Golf Club
Circling Raven Golf Club is an 18-hole championship golf course in the northwest United States, located in northern Idaho near Worley. It was rated the third best public course in Idaho by '' Golf Digest'' in August 2015. Owned and operated by the Coeur d'Alene Tribe, Circling Raven opened for play in the summer of 2003. It was preceded on the site by a casino (1993) and hotel (2001). The course is named after a visionary chief of the tribe in the 18th century. Designed by Florida-based architect Gene Bates, the back tees at Circling Raven are at ; the course rating is 74.1 with a slope rating of 144. The terrain varies between rolling prairie, woodlands, and wetlands at an average elevation of approximately above sea level. Epson Tour
The Epson Tour, previously known as the LPGA Futures Tour, and known for sponsorship reasons between 2006 and 2010 as the Duramed Futures Tour and between 2012 and 2021 as the Symetra Tour, is the official developmental golf tour of the LPGA Tour. Tour membership is open to professional women golfers and to qualified amateurs. History The Futures Tour was founded in Florida in 1981 as the "Tampa Bay Mini Tour". Pei-Yun Chien (born 22 October 1990) is a Taiwanese professional golfer who plays on the LPGA Tour. Early life and amateur career Chien started playing golf at the age of 12. The Coeur d'Alene (also ''Skitswish''; natively ''Schi̲tsu'umsh'') are a Native American nation and one of five federally recognized tribes in the state of Idaho. Demi Frances Runas (born 1991) is an American professional golfer who is currently on the LPGA Tour. She began her professional career in 2014. Early life Runas was born in 1991 in Los Angeles, California to Filipino parents. She first played golf at the age of 8. She attended Torrance High School in Torrance, California.
