Cindy Stein
Cindy Stein (born January 22, 1961) is a former basketball coach. She was the head women's basketball coach at Southern Illinois University Carbondale from 2013 to 2022. She is the former coach of the Missouri Tigers women's basketball team at the University of Missouri from 1998 to 2010 and at Illinois Central College from 2012 to 2013. She was the head coach for the Cougars from April 3, 2012, until April 2, 2013, when she was named head coach of the SIU Women's basketball team. Playing career Stein was a junior college All-American, playing her first college basketball at Illinois Central College. She later transferred to the University of Illinois at Urbana–Champaign, an NCAA Division I school, where she played in her first NCAA Division I tournament in 1982. She ranks sixth in career assists (323) for the Illinois Fighting Illini and holds the highest career average for assists per game (5.6). KCWJ (1030 AM) is a radio station in the Blue Springs/ Kansas City, Missouri, market. It is owned by Radio Vida Kansas. It is a 5,000 watt day/500 watt night station. History KCWJ signed on in 1984 as KBST, an Adult Contemporary station that later switched to oldies, then back to adult contemporary. In 1989, the station became an affiliate of the Z-Rock network. The Big 12 Conference is a college athletic conference headquartered in Irving, Texas, USA. It consists of ten full-member universities. The NCAA Division II women's basketball tournament (officially styled as "Championship" instead of "Tournament") is an annual tournament to determine the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division II women's college basketball national champion. Basketball was one of 12 women's sports added to the NCAA championship program for the 1981–82 school year, as the NCAA and Association for Intercollegiate Athletics for Women (AIAW) sought for sole governance of women's collegiate athletics. The AIAW continued to conduct its established championships; however, after a year of dual women's championships at the national level, the AIAW disbanded.
