Cindrella (Sinhala Film)
''Cindrella'' ( si, සින්ඩ්රෙල්ලා) is a 2016 Sri Lankan romantic film directed by Inoka Sathyangani and produced by Sthree Shakthi Productions. It stars Upeksha Swarnamali and former Sri Lankan ODI cricketer Akalanka Ganegama in lead roles along with Pubudu Chathuranga and Jayani Senanayake. Music composed by Navaratne Gamage. It is the 1243rd Sri Lankan film in the Sinhala cinema. The film contains 17 songs with the help of 7 music directors. Plot Chandula and his two friends have planned a holiday at a luxury hotel. On their day of visit, they see a beautiful girl (Isanka) at the hotel and Chandula starts to catch feelings towards her. Inoka Sathyangani
Inoka Sathyangani Keerthinanda is an internationally acclaimed Sri Lankan film director, producer and former Chairperson of Sri Lanka Rupavahini Corporation. In 2002 she received critical acclaim for her maiden effort ''Sulang Kirilli'', which deals with the theme of abortion. The film won the highest number of awards won by a single film in the history of Sri Lanka's film industry. She is an active member of "Colombo Independents Cinema Forum" which works towards a ''"better and wholesome Srilankan cinema"''. Upeksha Swarnamali ( si, උපේක්ෂා ස්වර්ණමාලි), popularly known as "Paba", is an actress in Sri Lankan cinema and television and a former member of the Sri Lanka Parliament. She gained popularity for her role on the television series "Paba" broadcast on Independent Television Network. Personal life She was born to Sri Lankan parents in Kuwait, where she lived for 20 years before returning to Sri Lanka in 2004. She studied at Indian International School in Kuwait and holds a Diploma in Dancing. Her mother named Nirmalee Swarnamali and her father is a Tamil citizen. Cricket is a bat-and-ball game played between two teams of eleven players on a field at the centre of which is a pitch with a wicket at each end, each comprising two bails balanced on three stumps. He has completed his debut album ''Abinishkramanaya (renunciation)'', but it has not been officially released yet.
