The Cincinnati Stuff were a professional basketball team in the International Basketball League (1999–2001), International Basketball League (IBL) from 1999 to 2001. History The Cincinnati Stuff were founded in March 1999, with Doug Kirchhofer as president and former NBA MVP Oscar Robertson as an advisor and part owner together with Neil Kirchhofer. The Stuff held the 1st pick of the 1999 IBL draft, which they used to select Devin Davis (basketball, born 1974), Devin Davis. However, Davis never played for the franchise, and the final roster for the first season was announced in late November 1999: the first players were Roderick Blakney, Lenny Brown, Allen Edwards (basketball), Allen Edwards, Damon Flint, Damon Frierson, Phil Hickey, Courtney James, Chris Kingsbury, Soumaila Samake, Alex Sanders, Eric Taylor and Wayne Turner (basketball), Wayne Turner. The International Basketball League (IBL) was a short-lived professional men's basketball List of basketball leagues, league in the United States. The IBL was headquartered in Baltimore, Maryland. The league started in 1999 and ended in 2001. History The International Basketball League was founded in early 1999 and made plans to begin play in fall of that year. Marcus Taylor (basketball, Born 1976)
Marcus Taylor (born November 25, 1981) is a retired American professional basketball player. He was a Naismith All-American, McDonald's All-American, two-time Parade All-American and USA Today 1st-team All-American. He also went on to win Mr. Basketball of Michigan Award in 2000. Taylor attended Michigan State University for two seasons before entering the NBA Draft. In his sophomore season, he became only the second player in Big Ten history to lead the conference in scoring and assists, and the first in MSU history. George L. Reese (born May 8, 1977) is an American former professional basketball player. He attended The Ohio State University, where the Buckeyes went to the NCAA Final Four 1999, and won the Men's Big Ten Basketball Championship in 2000. Reese has played abroad, including France, Germany, Greece and Poland. Early life and college Reese graduated from Independence High School at Columbus, Ohio in 1995. After graduating from high school, he attended the University of South Florida for one year. Under coach Bobby Paschal, Reese never played any games, so he transferred to Columbus State Community College the but still did not play basketball. He then transferred to John A. Ron Calvin Grandison (born July 6, 1964) is a former basketball player, who attended the University of California, Irvine and the University of New Orleans. He was selected in the fifth round of the 1987 NBA draft, 100th pick overall, by the Denver Nuggets. Tremaine J. Fowlkes (born April 11, 1976) is an American former professional basketball player at the small forward position.
