Cicada are a British electronic music group. Members include producers Aaron Gilbert (a.k.a. Mr. Natural), Alex Payne and several guest vocalists including Tom Smith from Editors, Heidrun Bjornsdottir, Ben Onono, Max Berlin, Bjorn from Pacific! and most recently Fleur East, Megan Quashie, Joel Pott and Shahin Badar. Biography They released several critically acclaimed singles throughout 2005 and 2006, including "The Things You Say" and "Cut Right Through" (both of which Feature vocals by Geordie singer Jennifer Lamb), and "Electric Blue". They have also done remixes for Depeche Mode, New Order, Chicane, Dannii Minogue, LeAnn Rimes, Client, Blu Mar Ten and The Veronicas, and many more. Deepest Blue are a British electronic music duo comprising Matt Schwartz and Joel Edwards. They are best known for their UK Top 10 hit singles, "Deepest Blue" (2003) and " Give It Away" (2004). History Deepest Blue consists of Joel Edwards and Matt Schwartz. Schwartz had worked with Arthur Baker, Mica Paris, JTQ and Massive Attack prior to Deepest Blue. Rogue Traders
Rogue Traders is an Australian electronic rock band formed in Melbourne, Victoria (Australia), Victoria in 2002 by mainstay James Ash on keyboards. In 1989, Ash met fellow original member Steve Davis in London while both were working as DJs. Before forming Rogue Traders, the pair had worked together on many projects, including the dance music act Union State, which relocated to Melbourne in 1992. The group's name comes from the 1999 drama film, ''Rogue Trader (film), Rogue Trader''. Double Dee is an Italian dance music duo who scored one hit, "Found Love", which spent a week at #1 on the U.S. Hot Dance Music/Club Play chart in 1990. The single did not chart on the ''Billboard'' Hot 100 but did reach #64 on the Airplay chart. Members of the group were Davide Domenella and Donato "Dany" Losito. "Found Love" was officially credited to 'Double Dee featuring Dany'. "Found Love" was re-issued in 1995, reaching number 33 in the UK Singles Chart. Clea were an English girl group whose members met on the television show '' Popstars: The Rivals'' in 2002. Chloe Morgan (née Staines), Lynsey Brown, Emma Beard and Aimee Kearsley decided to form a band after they were voted off the series. The name 'Clea' is an acronym of the first letter of each member's name. History They initially had a management contract with Upside Management a company set up by former BMG / Sony employee's Denise Beighton and Simon Jones and recording contract with Warner offshoot 1967 Records and released their first single, "Download It", in 2003. "Download It" is the debut single by English girl group Clea. It was released in the UK on 22 September 2003 and just missed the top 20 charting at No. 21, selling 12,050 copies in the UK. The single had average promotion, being performed on shows like ''Top of the Pops''. The song appears on their international debut album, ''Identity Crisis'', and was re-recorded for their UK debut album ''Trinity'', although Morgan's vocals were not added. Music video Clea filmed a video for this single in Vancouver, Canada, with four girls in a house as if they were digital humans or similar. It does not have a proper plot, but it can be inferred that they are watching someone. The video appears on the DVD single. Beat Solèr, (born 8 July 1971) better known by his stage name Seelenluft, is a Swiss record producer of electronic music. Career Seelenluft is Beat Soler from Zürich. He has been playing music since he was seven. He made a number of records in the 2000s. He signed up with Klein Records and released his first record ''The Rise and Fall of Silvercity Bob'' in 2000. David Russell Lee (born 18 June 1964) is an English DJ and house music producer, formerly known by the stage name Joey Negro, which he retired in July 2020 following the George Floyd protests.
