Chuttalunnaru Jagratha
''Chuttalunnaru Jagratha'' () is a 1980 Indian Telugu-language masala film directed by B. V. Prasad. The film stars Krishna and Sridevi. It revolves around a man who was framed for murder, and a lookalike who aids him in finding the true killers. It was released on 8 August 1980 and became a commercial success. It was remade in Tamil as '' Pokkiri Raja'' (1982) and in Hindi as ''Mawaali'' (1983), with Sridevi returning for both. Plot An industrialist's daughter and the manager of the industrialist's factory fall in love, despite initial conflicts. The industrialist's greedy relative wants his son to marry the girl, lusting for her wealth. Father and son murder the industrialist, and the factory manager is wrongfully convicted. Krishna (Telugu Actor)
Ghattamaneni Siva Rama Krishna Murthy (31 May 1943 – 15 November 2022), known mononymously as Krishna, was an Indian actor, director and producer known for his works predominantly in Telugu cinema. In a film career spanning five decades, he starred in more than 350 films in a variety of roles. He is referred to as "Superstar" in the Telugu states, Telugu media. In 2009, the government of India honoured him with the Padma Bhushan for his contributions to Cinema of India, Indian cinema. He was elected as a Member of Parliament for the Indian National Congress, Congress party in 1989. Suryakantham (28 October 1924 – 18 December 1994) was an Indian actress in Tollywood. She was popular for playing the role of a cruel mother-in-law in most of her movies. Early life Suryakantham was born and brought up in a Telugu Brahmin family residing at Venkata Krishnaraya Puram near Kakinada of East Godavari district in Andhra Pradesh. She was the 14th child to her parents, ten of whose children had died. She learnt dance and singing at the age of six. She married Peddibhotla Chalapati Rao, a High Court Judge, in 1950. Jaladi Raja Rao ( te, జాలాది రాజా రావు) (9 August 1932 – 14 October 2011) was a versatile writer, playwright and lyricist in Telugu cinema. Life Jaladi was born on 9 August 1932 in Gudiwada in the Krishna district of Andhra Pradesh. He was the fourth son of Amrutamma and the late Jaladi Emmanuel, a member of the Krishna District Board and Indian freedom fighter. He passed his S.S.L.C. with Telugu as special course.
