Church Stretton School is an 11–16 mixed secondary school with academy status in Church Stretton, Shropshire, England. Previously a community school administered by Shropshire Council, Church Stretton School converted to academy status in April 2013. The school is now part of the South Shropshire Academy Trust, along with Stokesay Primary School in Craven Arms. An academy school in England is a state-funded school which is directly funded by the Department for Education and independent of local authority control. Craven Arms is a market town and civil parish in Shropshire, England, on the A49 road and the Welsh Marches railway line, which link it north and south to the larger towns of Shrewsbury and Ludlow respectively.
