Chungju Public Stadium ( ko, 충주공설운동장) is a sports complex and training ground in Chungju, South Korea. The stadium opened in 1979 and holds around 15,000 people. It is used mostly for football matches and athletics. Chungju
Chungju (충주시) is a city in North Chungcheong province, South Korea. Uamsan is a mountain located within the outskirts of the city. The city is famous for the annual martial arts festival held in October. Also of note, former UN Secretary-General, Ban Ki-moon grew up here. The K League 2 (Hangul: K리그2) is the men's second-highest division of the South Korean football league system. It is contested between thirteen professional clubs, and operates on a system of promotion and relegation with the K League 1.
