"Chulin Culin Chunfly" is the third single by Puerto Rico, Puerto Rican reggaeton performer Julio Voltio, Voltio, from his eponymous second studio album, ''Voltio (album), Voltio''. It was released on January 23, 2006, by Sony BMG and White Lion Records, White Lion. The album version features Residente of Calle 13 (band), Calle 13, while the remix adds American hip hop group Three 6 Mafia. The music video features Voltio and Residente Calle 13 in various scenes inspired from movies. Julio Voltio
Julio Voltio (born as Julio Irving Ramos Filomeno on June 11, 1977 in Santurce, Puerto Rico) is a Puerto Rican former reggaeton artist. A pioneer of the reggaeton genre, Voltio retired from music in 2014 and dedicated himself to preaching Christianity. His nickname came to be as the result of an accident. Before joining Karel, he worked as an electrician. One day, he stuck his hand in the wrong place and got shocked. Everyone then called him "Bombillo" (Light Bulb) and "Corto Circuito" (Short Circuit), until eventually giving him a nickname that stuck: "Voltio" (Spanish word for volt). Julio Voltio now identifies as a born-again Christian. Calle 13 is a Puerto Rican alternative hip-hop band formed by stepbrothers Residente (lead vocalist, songwriter) and Visitante (multi-instrumentalist, vocalist, beat producer), along with their half-sister iLe, also known as PG-13 (backing vocals). Pérez and Cabra first were discovered by Elias De Leon. They were subsequently given a record deal with White Lion Records after leaving a demo with A&R Director Carlos "Karly" Rosario. After the song "Querido FBI" was released, the group gained attention in Puerto Rico. Three 6 Mafia is an American Hip hop music, hip hop group from Memphis, Tennessee, formed in 1991.
