Yagoto
is a neighbourhood that straddles Mizuho ward, Shōwa ward, and Tempaku ward in eastern Nagoya, central Japan. History The area is also known as Yagotoyama. During the Edo period, the area thrived as a pilgrimage area with various temples, of which the most central one was Kōshō-ji. Other temples within the immediate area of Kōshō-ji are Tokurin-ji, Saiko-in, Joshō-ji, Seigan-ji, Kōshin-ji, Hōju-in, and Hansobo Temple, although many were moved here during World War II. The Hayato-ike is a large pond that was originally dug in 1646 for irrigation purposes on the order of Lord Naruse of Inuyama. is a Japanese former competitive figure skater. Yuma Kagiyama
is a Japanese figure skater. He is the 2022 Olympic silver medalist, a two-time World silver medalist (2021, 2022), the 2020 Four Continents bronze medalist, and a three-time Japanese national bronze medalist ( 2019–20, 2020–21, 2021–22). On the junior level, he is the 2020 Youth Olympic champion, the 2020 World Junior silver medalist, and the 2019–20 Japan Junior national champion. Kosei Tanaka
is a Japanese professional boxer. He is a three-weight world champion, having held the WBO mini-flyweight title from 2015 to 2016; the WBO junior-flyweight title from 2016 to 2017; and the WBO flyweight title from 2018 to 2020. Upon winning his first world title in only his fifth bout, he became the fastest Japanese fighter ever to become a world champion. Along with Vasyl Lomachenko, he is also the fastest ever fighter to win titles in three weight-classes, having accomplished the feat in only 12 bouts. is a Japanese figure skater. Masanari Omura
, nicknamed Masa, is a Japanese former professional footballer who played as a defender. He spent the majority of his career with Filipino club Kaya. He was awarded the United Football League Cup Golden Ball in 2015 and had also captained his club. Early life Masanari Omura was born on 14 July 1984 in Komaki, Aichi Prefecture, Japan. Ryo Miyaichi
is a Japanese professional footballer who plays as a winger for Yokohama F. Marinos in the J1 League and the Japan national team. Miyaichi began his professional career at Arsenal after a successful trial in 2010. However, without a British work permit, he was loaned out to Eredivisie side Feyenoord where he made his professional debut in 2011 at age 17. In 2012, Miyaichi spent loan periods at fellow Premier League clubs, Bolton Wanderers and Wigan Athletic, helping win the FA Cup with the latter in 2013. Jun Maeda
is a Japanese writer and co-founder of the visual novel brand Key under Visual Arts. He is considered a pioneer of nakige visual novels, and has mainly contributed as a scenario writer, lyricist, and musical composer for the games the company produces. His style was originally inspired by James Herbert Brennan, and is influenced by Haruki Murakami's novel ''Hard-Boiled Wonderland and the End of the World''. Originally from Mie, Japan, Maeda graduated from Mie high school and later went on to graduate from Chukyo University with a major in psychology. Takahiko Kozuka
is a former competitive Japanese figure skater. He is the 2011 World silver medalist, a two-time Grand Prix Final medalist, a two-time Four Continents medalist, and the 2010–11 Japanese national champion. Miki Ando
is a retired Japanese figure skater. She is the 2007 and 2011 World champion, 2011 Four Continents champion, 2004 World Junior champion, and a three-time (2003, 2004 & 2010) Japanese national champion. Ando is the first female skater to complete a quadruple jump successfully in competition. She accomplished this at the 2002–03 Junior Grand Prix Final in The Hague, Netherlands.
