He began his career with El Nacional in Ecuador and then joined Santos Laguna, with whom he won the award for Best Player of the Clausura 2008. He spent the 2009–10 season on loan to Premier League club Birmingham City, and then moved to Club América for a Mexican record US$10 million, where he was a regular scorer. He played for El Jaish of the Qatar Stars League at the time of his death. Benitez played 58 times for the Ecuador national football team from his debut in 2005, scoring 24 goals. He played for them at the 2006 FIFA World Cup and two Copa America tournaments. Following his death, the Ecuadorian Football Federation retired Benítez's number 11 jersey from the national team. 	Chucho Castillo Jesús Castillo Aguilera (June 17, 1944 – January 15, 2013) was a Mexican professional boxer. Better known as Chucho Castillo, he was the Lineal, WBA and WBC bantamweight world champion in 1970. Castillo and Rubén Olivares sustained one of the most important rivalries in the history of Mexican boxing. Castillo was described by the boxing book '' The Ring: Boxing In The 20th Century'' as quiet and sullen, while Olivares was more of an outgoing partygoer, according to the book. The personality contrast made fans very interested in their matches. Early career Castillo was born in Nuevo Valle de Moreno, a small town in the municipality of León, Guanajuato, Mexico. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Cambridge University in 1980. He has performed with Nucleus, Eurythmics, The Pretenders, Thomas Dolby, George Harrison, Pete Townshend, David Gilmour, Robi Rosa, Bryan Adams, Kirsty MacColl, Jaguares, and Everything but the Girl. 	Chucho Navarro José de Jesús Navarro Moreno, (January 20, 1913 – December 23, 1993), better known by his stage name of "Chucho" Navarro, was a Mexican singer and founding member of the Trio Los Panchos. Chucho Navarro was born in Irapuato, Guanajuato on January 20, 1913. He was the second voice in the trio, singing harmony and playing a guitar. He continued to sing in this role until his death on December 23, 1993, at the age of 80. 	Chucho Ramos Jesús Manuel Ramos García (April 12, 1918 – September 2, 1977) was an outfielder/first baseman in Major League Baseball who played briefly during the season. Listed at 5' 10.5", 167 lb., Ramos batted right-handed and threw left-handed. Born in Maturín, Venezuela, he played under the name Chucho Ramos. Career Ramos became the third player to go straight into the major leagues with no minor league experience, following Ted Lyons () and Alex Carrasquel (). He also was the second Venezuelan player to appear in a major league game, behind fellow countryman Carrasquel. Ramos was heralded as an outstanding defensive player, but back problems shortened his career.
