Chuba Okadigbo
Chuba Wilberforce Okadigbo (17 December 1941 – 25 September 2003), was a Nigerians, Nigerian philosopher, academic, writer and political scientist. He served as President of the Senate of Nigeria, Senate president of Nigeria from 1999 to 2000. Okadigbo was sometimes referred to as ''Oyi of Oyi'' in reference to his local government council area (Oyi); he also held numerous political positions in the Nigeria government and was known to have opposed the ruling People's Democratic Party (Nigeria), Peoples Democratic Party of Nigeria, which was led by President Olusegun Obasanjo, Olusẹgun Ọbasanjọ from the year 1999–2007. Anambra State
Anambra State is a Nigerian state, located in the southeastern region of the country. The state was created on August 27, 1991. Ogbunike
Ogbunike is a town in the Oyi local government area of Anambra State, Nigeria. Location It is located about 15 kilometers east of Onitsha. The Onitsha-Enugu expressway cuts through its northern border. The town is bordered on the east by Umudioka of the Dunukofia local government area, on the north-east by Umunya and on the north by Nkwelle-Ezunaka (both Oyi local government area). It shares its boundary on the west and south with Ogidi of Idemili North local government area. It has an uneven landscape with fertile soil and sufficient rainfall for a range of biannual plants. Asaba City
Asaba is the capital city of Delta State, Nigeria. It is located at the western bank of the Niger River, in the Oshimili South Local Government Area. Asaba had a population of 149,603 as at the 2006 census, and a metropolitan population of over half a million people. Asaba is well known for social activities and amenities such as hotels, clubs, cinemas, malls, event centre, etc. It holds a yearly program named Delta Yaddah which always hosts a series of gospel singers among others. Due to its large population, the crime rate is high. Pickpocketing, robbery, etc., are rampant. Because of the presence of foreigners in the state, the cost of living is high in Asaba.
