Chronica (Scaramanga Six Album)
''Chronica'' is the ninth album by English rock group The Scaramanga Six (and the band's first double album). Background Work on what would become ''Chronica'' was begun in early 2016 and continued over a year-and-a-half of intermittent sessions in Sheffield with producer/engineer Alan Smyth, during which The Scaramanga Six wrote and recorded enough material to consider releasing a double album. Having decided to make this commitment, the band then opened up the funding arrangements to their fanbase as their second PledgeMusic project (following 2015's ''The Terrifying Dream''), including download, CD and vinyl releases. The Scaramanga Six
The Scaramanga Six are an English rock band. Originally formed in 1995 and based in Huddersfield, the band currently consists of multi-instrumentalist founder members Paul Morricone (vocals, guitar, etc.) and Steven Morricone (vocals, bass guitar, keyboards etc.), plus Julia Arnez (guitar, vocals) and Gareth Champion (drums). Mick Ronson
Michael Ronson (26 May 1946 – 29 April 1993) was an English musician, songwriter, arranger, and producer. He achieved critical and commercial success working with David Bowie as the guitarist of the Spiders from Mars. He was a session musician who recorded five studio albums with Bowie followed by four with Ian Hunter, and also worked as a sideman in touring bands with Van Morrison and Bob Dylan. Ronson and Bowie also produced Lou Reed's ''Transformer'' with Ronson playing lead guitar and piano and writing string arrangements, which brought mainstream recognition. Hüsker Dü () was an American punk rock band formed in Saint Paul, Minnesota, in 1979. The band's continual members were guitarist/vocalist Bob Mould, bassist/vocalist Greg Norton, and drummer/vocalist Grant Hart. They first gained notability as a hardcore punk band, and later crossed over into alternative rock.
