Chrisye
Hajji Chrismansyah Rahadi (; 16 September 1949 – 30 March 2007), born Christian Rahadi (), better known by his stage name Chrisye (), was an Indonesian progressive pop singer and songwriter. In 2011 ''Rolling Stone Indonesia'' declared him the third-greatest Indonesian musician of all time. Born in Jakarta of mixed Chinese-Indonesian descent, Chrisye became interested in music at an early age. At high school he played bass guitar in a band he formed with his brother, Joris. In the late 1960s he joined Sabda Nada (later Gipsy), a band led by his neighbours, the Nasutions. In 1973, after a short hiatus, he rejoined the band to play in New York for a year. He briefly returned to Indonesia and then went back to New York with another band, the Pro's. After once again returning to Indonesia, he collaborated with Gipsy and Guruh Sukarnoputra to record the 1976 indie album '' Guruh Gipsy''. Sendiri
''Sendiri'' (''Alone'' in the Indonesian language) is a 1984 album by Indonesian singer Chrisye. It was his ninth studio album and eight with Musica Studios as well as his third album released in 1984 after ''Metropolitan'' and ''Nona'' (Miss). Production After the release of ''Nona'' (''Miss''; 1984), Chrisye broke off his three album collaboration with Eros Djarot and Jockie Soerjoprajogo as he was tired of art rock. Looking for a change, he approached Addie MS to be the music director. Addie, who considered Chrisye his idol, was initially uncertain if he was of the same caliber as Chrisye's previous partners. Chrisye, who had been observing Addie's work with his friend Keenan Nasution as well as Vina Panduwinata's debut album ''Citra Biru'' (''Blue Image''; 1981) and enjoyed what he heard, insisted. Once Addie was convinced to work on the album, he approached the issue aggressively. Chrisye's recent trilogy had been heavily inspired by art rock, which was a departure from the o ...

Dekade
''Dekade'' (; en, Decade) is a 2002 Indonesian pop album published by Musica Studios and Chrisye's nineteenth studio album. It is also his only cover album. Creation The idea for ''Dekade'' came when Chrisye thought about previously popular songs that were later forgotten. Believing that all genres of modern music draw inspiration from the past, he spoke with Erwin Gutawa, who agreed that they should make a tribute to the history of Indonesian pop music. They worked together to find songs that they could obtain the rights to use and that matched Chrisye's timbre. Eventually, they decided on "Kr. Pasar Gambir dan Stambul Anak Jampang" to represent the 1940s, "Di Bawah Sinar Bulan Purnama" to represent the 1950s, "Dara Manisku" to represent the 1960s, "Anggrek Bulan" and "Pengalaman Pertama" to represent the 1970s, "Kisah Kasih di Sekolah" and "Sakura dalam Pelukan" to represent the 1980s, "Kangen" to represent the 1990s, and "Seperti Yang Kau Minta" to represent the 2000s.

Although it was named ''Konser Tur 2001'', it is not a live recording of a concert; it is a studio album with two original songs and thirteen of his earlier hits, from ''Sabda Alam'' to '' Kala Cinta Menggoda''.
