Christos Melissis
Christos Melissis, ( gr, Χρήστος Μελίσσης; born 1 December 1982) is a Greek football player who played for Sudanese club Al-Hilal Omdurman. He has played in the past for Naoussa, Panserraikos, PAOK, Panathinaikos, Larissa, Panthrakikos, Marítimo in Portugal and the Greece national football team. He usually plays as a center back but when called upon he is used as a right back or a defensive midfielder. Playing career He started his career in Naoussa, and then played for five years in Panserraikos before attracting the interesting of PAOK. He was signed by PAOK Thessaloniki FC in January 2006 and has become an important first team player ever since. He scored his first goal for PAOK in a home game versus Aris FC in 2007. In the last games of the 2007–08 season he was named captain of the PAOK Thessaloniki FC squad, indicating his role for the years to come and rewarding his commitment. Edessa, Greece
Edessa ( el, Έδεσσα, ; also known as the "''City of Waters and of the 5 Senses''"), until 1923 Vodena ( el, link=no, Βοδενά), is a city in northern Greece and the capital of the Pella regional unit, in the Central Macedonia region of Greece. The Super League (officially known as the Betfred Super League due to sponsorship from Betfred and legally known as Super League Europe), is the top-level of the British rugby league system. At present the league consists of twelve teams, of which eleven are from Northern England, reflecting the sport's geographic heartland within the UK, and one from southern France. Panthrakikos Football Club ( el, Α.Π.Σ. Πανθρακικός) is a Greek football club based in Komotini, Thrace in North Eastern Greece founded in 1963. The club competed in Super League Greece during the 2008–09 season for the first time. History Early years (1963–2001) Panthrakikos F.C. was formed in the town of Komotini in 1963. Glyfada ( el, Γλυφάδα, ) is a suburb in South Athens located in the Athens Riviera along the Athens coast. It is situated in the southern parts of the Athens' Urban Area.
