Christopher T. Adams (born June 19, 1972) is an American politician who has served as a Republican member of the Maryland House of Delegates, representing Maryland Legislative District 37, District 37B, since 2015. Early life and career Adams was born on June 19, 1972, in Salisbury, Maryland, where he attended Wicomico High School in 1990. He graduated from Salisbury University with a Bachelor of Science in business management in 1994 and a Master of Business Administration, M.B.A. in 1996. A fifth generation Eastern Shore of Maryland, Eastern Shore native, he is married and has three children. Adams worked as a salesman from 1992 to 1995 and sales manager from 1995 to 2001 at Value Carpet One. He has served as president of Value Carpet One since 2001. In October 2013, Adams declared his candidacy for the Maryland House of Delegates. He prevailed in the Republican primary alongside Johnny Mautz, earning 24.5 percent of the vote. Maryland, Maryland's Legislative District 37 is one of 47 districts in the state for the Maryland General Assembly. It covers Talbot County, Maryland and parts of Caroline County, Maryland, Caroline County, Dorchester County, Maryland, Dorchester County and Wicomico County, Maryland, Wicomico County. The district is divided into two sub-districts for the Maryland House of Delegates: Maryland House of Delegates District 37A, District 37A and Maryland House of Delegates District 37B, District 37B.
