Christopher Hinton Jr.
Christopher Hinton Jr. (born September 14, 2000) is an American professional football nose tackle for the Los Angeles Chargers of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the Michigan Wolverines. Early life Hinton attended Greater Atlanta Christian School. He is the son of former All-Pro offensive lineman Chris Hinton, and the older brother of Myles Hinton. He played in the 2019 U.S. Army All-American Bowl, and was a five-star recruit. Hinton committed to play for the University of Michigan over offers from Ohio State, Georgia, Clemson, Stanford, and others. College career Hinton played at Michigan from 2019 to 2021. The Michigan Wolverines football team represents the University of Michigan in college football at the NCAA Division I Football Bowl Subdivision level. Michigan has the most all-time wins in college football history. Chris Hinton
Christopher Jerrod Hinton (born July 31, 1961) is a former American football offensive tackle who played in the National Football League (NFL) for 13 seasons, primarily with the Indianapolis Colts franchise. In addition to his seven seasons with the Colts, he was a member of the Atlanta Falcons for four seasons and the Minnesota Vikings for two seasons. Hinton was selected fourth overall by the Denver Broncos in the 1983 NFL Draft and was traded to the Colts as part of a deal for the Broncos to receive Colts' pick John Elway. Although Hinton noted that his career was often overshadowed by his role in Elway's trade, his own NFL tenure saw him named to seven Pro Bowls and recognized as a two-time first-team All-Pro. In sports, the practice squad, also called the taxi squad or practice roster, is a group of players signed by a team but not part of their main roster. Frequently used in gridiron football, they serve as extra players during the team's practices, often as part of the scout team by emulating an upcoming opponent's play style. Because the players on the practice squad are familiar with the team's plays and formations, the practice squad serves as a way to develop inexperienced players for promotion to the main roster. The 2022 NFL Draft was the 87th edition of the National Football League's annual draft and was held from April 28–30, 2022, at the Caesars Forum on the Las Vegas Strip in Paradise, Nevada. The first round was held on Thursday, April 28, and was followed by the second and third rounds on Friday, April 29. The draft concluded with rounds 4–7 on Saturday, April 30. It was the first draft to be held in the Las Vegas metropolitan area. The first five selections were defensive players, the second-most taken at the start of a draft after the six in 1991. The All-American Bowl is a high school football all-star game, held annually at the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas. Typically played in January, the All-American Bowl is played between all-star teams representing the eastern and western United States.
