Christopher Fox (composer)
Christopher Fox (born 10 March 1955) is an English composer and writer on music. Biography He studied at the universities of Liverpool, Southampton and York, where his teachers included Hugh Wood and Jonathan Harvey. He received a PhD in composition from the University of York in 1984. From 1984 to 1994 he was a member of the composition staff at the Darmstadt New Music Summer School. He is currently Professor in Music at Brunel University, a post he took up in 2006. His music is widely performed, broadcast and recorded. He is also a prolific writer on music. In addition to concert works, Fox has collaborated with artists on gallery works, and with the poet Ian Duhig on a "musical box". An important aspect of Fox's music is its stylistic breadth—whilst his principal considerations may seem to be with systems music and adopting a systematic approach, his music also serves a political function, is deeply rooted in the post-war Darmstadt traditions of applying psychological ...

He is best known for playing Corporal Louis Hoffman in ''Ultimate Force'' from 2002 to 2008 and DS Max Carter in ''The Bill'' between December 2007 and August 2010, as well as being the narrator on the documentary series ''Police Interceptors'' from 2008 to 2015. Christopher Fox, Baron Fox
Christopher Francis Fox (Chris Fox) (born 27 September 1957) is a British Liberal Democrat politician. He was made life peer as Baron Fox, of Leominster in the County of Herefordshire, on 11 September 2014. He graduated with a BSc in chemistry from Imperial College London. Fox spent a year as president of the Imperial College Students' Union. As of June 2017 he was appointed Liberal Democrat Lords Spokesperson for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy in the House of Lords. From June 2015 he was a member of the Lords Science and Technology Committee, in July 2019 changing to be a member of the Economic Affairs Committee.
