Christophe Porcu (born 5 May 1971 in Mauvezin, Gers, France) is a French international rugby union player. He played as a Lock (rugby union), Lock for SU Agen Lot-et-Garonne, Agen and USA Perpignan. He started his career at SU Agen Lot-et-Garonne, SU Agen but he moved in 2002 to USA Perpignan where he was finalist of the Heineken Cup in 2003. He left Perpignan for playing Fédérale 3 with Torreilles Rugby, Torreilles but after one season he returned to USA Perpignan. Lock (rugby Union)
In the game of rugby union, there are 15 players on each team, comprising eight forwards (wearing jerseys numbered 1–8) and seven backs (numbered 9–15). In addition, there may be up to eight replacement players "on the bench", numbered 16–23. Players are not restricted to a single position, although they generally specialise in just one or two that suit their skills and body types.
