Christophe Castaner
Christophe Castaner (; born 3 January 1966) is a French politician, former minister of parliament, and former Minister of the Interior from 16 October 2018 to 6 July 2020. In 2017, he was elected for a 3 year term as chairman (''délégué général'') of the Renaissance Party (formerly La République En Marche!) with President Emmanuel Macron's support. Castaner was Government Spokesperson under Prime Minister Édouard Philippe in 2017 and Minister of Relations with Parliament from 2017 to 2018. He was also Emmanuel Macron's 2017 presidential campaign spokesman. Born in Ollioules in the Var department of the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region, Castaner was Mayor of Forcalquier from 2001 to 2017 and Vice President of the Regional Council of Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur from 2004 to 2012 under the presidency of Michel Vauzelle, before he represented the 2nd constituency of the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence department in the National Assembly from 2012 to 2017. Emmanuelle Fontaine-Domeizel (born 28 August 1973) is a French nurse and politician of La République En Marche! Var (, ) is a department in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region of Southeastern France. It takes its name from the river Var, which flowed along its eastern boundary, until the boundary was moved in 1860 and the department is no longer associated with the river. Forcalquier
Forcalquier (; oc, Forcauquier, ) is a commune in the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence department in southeastern France. Forcalquier is located between the Lure and Luberon mountain ranges, about south of Sisteron and west of the Durance river. During the Middle Ages it was the capital of Haute-Provence. History ''Furnus Calcarius'' was the Latin name, from the lime kilns used in Roman times. (A Roman bridge still stands in the valley to the south of the town.) Its Provençal name is ''Fourcauquié''.
