Christoph M. Ohrt
Christoph M. Ohrt (born 30 March 1960, in Hamburg) is a German film and television actor. One of his best known roles was the portrayal of Felix Edel on the German television series '' Edel & Starck'' Life Ohrt grew up in Hamburg and attended the Gymnasium Eppendorf, a high school, which he left a few years before his graduation to study at a drama school. He later continued his drama studies at the Center for the Acting Process in the U.S. The film ' (1983) marks his start in cinema activity in Germany. The Berlin International Film Festival (german: Internationale Filmfestspiele Berlin), usually called the Berlinale (), is a major international film festival held annually in Berlin, Germany. Founded in 1951 and originally run in June, the festival has been held every February since 1978 and is one of the "Film festival#Notable festivals, Big Three" alongside the Venice Film Festival in Italy and the Cannes Film Festival in France. Tens of thousands of visitors attend each year. About 400 films are shown at multiple venues across Berlin, mostly in and around Potsdamer Platz. It is a co-production between seven European TV stations in which each station produced a number of episodes which were then pooled, dubbed and otherwise adapted when needed and broadcast by all participating stations, a format used earlier in the German crime series Tatort. The participating networks were ZDF from Germany, ORF from Austria, SRG from Switzerland, RAI from Italy, Televisión Española from Spain, Antenne 2 from France and Channel 4 from the United Kingdom. ''Berliner Weisse mit Schuss'' is a television series of the ZDF (Zweites Deutsches Fernsehen) that was produced from 1984 to 1995. Each episode consisted of several self-contained stories in which Günter Pfitzmann took a starring role. Special emphasis was placed on the regional character of Berlin and all episodes (with exception of a holiday episode) took place in Berlin and many characters even spoke with a Berlin accent. Plot The episodes were designed to be entertaining and told from the perspective of the "little people" and oftentimes ended with a final punch that demonstrated strong values. ''Ein Fall für zwei'' (''"A case for two"'') is a German television series, which premiered on 11 September 1981 on ZDF. The series, set in Frankfurt am Main, features two main characters who solve crimes: a defense attorney and a private investigator. Josef Matula (played by Claus Theo Gärtner), a former German police officer, has gone into private business. His method of investigation is very effective and direct, and he sometimes even resorts to dirty tricks. Claus Theo Gärtner portrayed the role until 2013. The series' original opening theme sequence showed the viewer that Matula had been fired from the police and tried or convicted. Dr. Renz has defended him and Matula is seen walking out of the jail accompanied by Renz. Before closing we see that Renz has hired Matula as a private detective.
