Christof Frommelt (29 June 1918 – 16 March 1987) was a Liechtensteiner cross-country skier. He competed in the men's 18 kilometre event at the 1948 Winter Olympics. Competitive cross-country skiing encompasses a variety of race formats and course lengths. Rules of cross-country skiing are sanctioned by the International Ski Federation and by various national organizations. The 1948 Winter Olympics, officially known as the V Olympic Winter Games (german: V. Willi Frommelt
Willi Frommelt (born 18 November 1952) is a former Alpine skier from Liechtenstein who won a bronze medal in the slalom at the 1976 Olympics. Curiously during his career, Frommelt had only one podium finish in the World Cup events but four at the Alpine Ski World Championships and in four different discilines. Biography Frommelt is a son of Christof Frommelt, a cross-country skier and the Olympic flag bearer for Liechtenstein at the 1948 Games. At his first Olympics, in 1972, he competed in the downhill, slalom and giant slalom, but with little success. Two years later he won the first alpine skiing medal for Liechtenstein at world championships, a bronze in the downhill, and in 1978 he won another bronze, in the giant slalom. Paul Frommelt
Paul Frommelt (born 9 August 1957) is a former Alpine skier from Liechtenstein and young brother of Willi Frommelt. Career In the 1970s and 1980s he belonged to the Liechtenstein skiing team together with the siblings Andreas Wenzel and Hanni Wenzel. He was a slalom specialist and he won four slalom competitions in the World Cup. He also came third at the 1978 World Championships in Garmisch-Partenkirchen. At the 1988 Winter Olympics in Calgary he won a bronze medal in the slalom competition.
