"Christmas" is the eleventh episode of the first season of the American television police sitcom series ''Brooklyn Nine-Nine''. The episode was written by series co-creator Dan Goor and directed by Jake Szymanski. It aired on Fox in the United States on December 3, 2013. In this episode, Holt receives death threats and per protocol, Peralta is assigned as his guardian, much to the latter's joy. However, the situation is worse than he thought. The episode was seen by an estimated 3.66 million household viewers and gained a 1.6/5 ratings share among adults aged 18–49, according to Nielsen Media Research. The episode received mostly positive reviews from critics, who praised Braugher's performance. The show aired from September 17, 2013, to September 16, 2021, for a total of eight seasons and 153 episodes.
