Christine St. John (born 1954) is an American actress and playwright. Career St. John graduated in 1976 from The Theatre School at DePaul University, the Goodman School of Drama of the Art Institute of Chicago. She further studied at Sorbonne University and with Atelier Blanche Salant and Paul Weaver at American Center for Art and Culture, The American Center for Art and Culture in Paris, from 1976 to 1977. She has worked continuously in the theatre over the past 50 years. In 2014, she wrote and performed her one-woman play ''Bette Davis on The Edge''. She toured her play from 2014 until 2019 in the US and England. She performed her play in Singapore for Wag the Dog Theatre Company and won a place performing Off-Broadway, Off Broadway, New York City, for United Solo Artists. The Theatre School at DePaul University, previously the Goodman School of Drama (also known as TTS and GSD, respectively) is the drama school of DePaul University. Founded with its first class conducted at the Art Institute of Chicago on January 5, 1925, the Goodman School was associated with the Goodman Theatre Company. The school officially became part of DePaul University on July 1, 1978, and was renamed The Theatre School at DePaul University in 1982. The Theatre School is the Midwest region's oldest theatre conservatory and is ranked as one of the top professional theatrical training programs in the United States, enrolling approximately 450 students from North America and abroad.
