Christine Hewitt
Christine Hewitt (often credited as Mrs Hewitt) is a fictional character from the BBC soap opera '' EastEnders'', played by Elizabeth Power. Introduced in 1992 as a lonely divorcée, she becomes besotted with married Arthur Fowler (Bill Treacher) while he tends her garden. She leaves in 1993 once her affair with Arthur is discovered by his wife Pauline (Wendy Richard). Storylines Christine is first seen in February 1992, as a client of Arthur Fowler (Bill Treacher) who is hiring himself out as a gardener. Elizabeth Power
Elizabeth Power is an English actress. Power began her career in repertory theatre and went on to appear in several West End musicals. However, she best known for her work on British television, in particular her role as Christine Hewitt in the BBC soap opera, '' EastEnders'' (1992–1993). She has since gone on to feature in various stage productions. Early life Power was born in Eastbourne, East Sussex. She began singing and dancing lessons at the age of four, prompted by her mother, who was very keen for her to perform. However, at the age of 14, Power concluded "that she wasn't physically suited to be a dancer", so she decided to take up acting on the advice of her teacher. Michael Attwell
Michael John Attwell (16 January 1943 – 18 March 2006) was an English film and television actor. He is possibly best known for his role as Kenny Beale in the television soap opera ''EastEnders''. After training at RADA (studying Stage Management), Attwell went into repertory theatre at Newcastle Playhouse. Among his theatrical appearances include playing Pharaoh in ''Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat'' and Sky Masterson in ''Guys and Dolls'' (both at Haymarket Theatre). In 1979 and 1980, he played Razor Eddie a.k.a. Edward Winston Malone in two series of the comedy-drama ''Turtle's Progress''. Gillian Taylforth
Gillian Taylforth (born 14 August 1955) is an English actress. She is best known for her role as Kathy Beale on the BBC soap opera ''EastEnders'', and has also appeared as Jackie Pascoe/Webb on ITV's ''Footballers' Wives'' (2002–2006), and as Sgt. Nikki Wright in ITV's ''The Bill'' (2006–2008). She has also appeared in film during her early career, has presented on ITV's ''Loose Women'' and appeared as a celebrity contestant on ''Strictly Come Dancing'' in 2008. June Brown
June Muriel Brown (16 February 1927 – 3 April 2022) was an English actress and author. She was best known for her role as Dot Cotton on the BBC soap opera ''EastEnders'' (1985–1993; 1997–2020). Peter Dean (born 2 May 1939) is a British actor, best known for his roles as Pete Beale in ''EastEnders'', Jeff Bateman in ''Coronation Street'' and Sergeant Jack Wilding in '' Woodentop''. Early life and education Dean was born in Hoxton, East London, and was an acquaintance of the Kray twins while he was growing up. He went to primary school in Holloway and technical school at King's Cross, where he learned plumbing and bricklaying.
