Christina Marie Katrina Julien (born 6 May 1988 in Cornwall, Ontario) is a Canadian women's soccer Striker (association football), striker who plays for German club 1. FC Köln#Women's section, 1. FC Köln and the Canada women's national soccer team. She has played in the 2011 FIFA Women's World Cup and won a gold medal at the Football at the 2011 Pan American Games – Women's tournament, 2011 Pan American Games. Julien was named in the 2012 Olympic squad as an alternate player. Club career Julien joined FF USV Jena for the 2014 season, and at the end of the season she left the club and joined 1. 2011 FIFA Women's World Cup
The 2011 FIFA Women's World Cup was the sixth FIFA Women's World Cup competition, the world championship for women's national association football teams. It was held from 26 June to 17 July 2011 in Germany, which won the right to host the event in October 2007. Japan won the final against the United States on a penalty shoot-out following a 2–2 draw after extra time and became the first Asian team to win a senior FIFA World Cup. The matches were played in nine stadiums in nine host cities around the country, with the final played at the Commerzbank Arena in Frankfurt. Sixteen teams were selected for participation via a worldwide qualification tournament that began in 2009. In the first round of the tournament finals, the teams competed in round-robin groups of four teams for points, with the top two teams in each group proceeding. 2012 CONCACAF Women's Olympic Qualifying Tournament
The 2012 CONCACAF Women's Olympic Qualifying Tournament was an association football competition used to determine the two participants who would compete at the 2012 Summer Olympics. It was held at BC Place in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, from January 19–29, 2012. Qualification Thirteen teams, eight from the Caribbean and five from Central America, competed to join automatic qualifiers Canada, Mexico and the United States in the eight-team final tournament. Caribbean qualification took place as two groups of four teams that competed from June 29 to July 9. Niederhasli is a municipality in the district of Dielsdorf in the canton of Zürich in Switzerland. History Niederhasli is first mentioned in 931 as ''Hasila''. On 10 January 2000, Crossair Flight 498 crashed in Niederhasli after taking off from Zurich Airport, killing all 10 people on board. The accident was caused by pilot error which lead to loss of control of the aircraft. Geography Niederhasli has an area of . Of this area, 58.3% is used for agricultural purposes, while 21.5% is forested. The 2010 CONCACAF Women's World Cup Qualifying was the sixth edition of the CONCACAF W Championship, the quadrennial international women's football championship contested by the senior women's national teams of the member associations of CONCACAF, the regional governing body of North America, Central America, and the Caribbean.
