Christian Wloch
Christian Wloch (born 1971 in Buenos Aires) is an Argentinian artist. Wloch trained in visual arts, film, video, multimedia and new technologies. Through visual and audio compositions explores geometric interdimensional universes generated from the light, sound and perception. Buenos Aires ( or ; ), officially the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires ( es, link=no, Ciudad Autónoma de Buenos Aires), is the capital and primate city of Argentina. Buenos Aires Museum Of Modern Art
The Buenos Aires Museum of Modern Art known locally as the Museo de Arte Moderno de Buenos Aires or MAMBA is a modern art museum located in Buenos Aires, Argentina. History The museum opened on April 11, 1956, and resulted from an initiative by sculptor and diplomat Pablo Curatella Manes and art critic Rafael Squirru, who served as its first director. Initially located in Buenos Aires' Witcomb Gallery, the museum was later housed in the San Martín Cultural Center. The museum moved to its current location, a former Nobleza Piccardo tobacconist in the San Telmo neighborhood, in 1986. Following a five-year, 15 million-dollar renovation, the museum's main building was reopened to the public on December 23, 2010; future expansion plans include an addition that would quadruple its existing 3,000 m² (32,000 ft²) of space, and would absorb the library and archives annex, currently located at 963 Adolfo Alsina Street. Fundación Proa
The Fundación Proa is a private art center in La Boca, Buenos Aires, Argentina. It was founded in 1996 and develops educational programs and exchange with cultural institutions. His focus is on the dissemination of the great artistic movements of the twentieth century. The foundation is located at Pedro de Mendoza Avenue, 1929. New headquarters Ten years after its opening, Fundación Proa faced a renewal process that concluded in 2008 with the opening of its new headquarters. It is an old building Italianate facade and three floors with four exhibition halls, a multimedia auditorium, a specialized library, a restaurant and terrace, plus spaces for action and opening to the public and a transparent facade to communicate experiences from inside to the neighborhood.
