Christian Thondike MejÃas (born ) is a Cuban male volleyball player. He is part of the Cuba men's national volleyball team. On club level he plays for Afyon Belediyespor of Turkish Men's Volleyball League. Career His career started in La Habana in Cuba. In September 2020, MejÃas signed with Barkom-Kazhany of the Ukrainian Super League. Volleyball
Volleyball is a team sport in which two teams of six players are separated by a net. Each team tries to score points by grounding a ball on the other team's court under organized rules. It has been a part of the official program of the Summer Olympic Games since Tokyo 1964. Beach volleyball was introduced to the programme at the Atlanta 1996. The Cuba men's national volleyball team ( es, Selección masculina de voleibol de Cuba) represents Cuba in international volleyball competitions and friendly matches, governed by Federación Cubana De Voleibol. Cuba in the 1976 Summer Olympics won their first bronze medal. In FIVB competitions, the national team won one gold each at World Cup, World Grand Champions Cup, World League and Challenger Cup. The Turkish Men's Volleyball League, officially called the Efe League (Turkish: Efeler Ligi), is the highest professional men's volleyball league in Turkey. Ukrainian Men's Volleyball Super League
The Ukrainian Men's Volleyball Super League ( uk, Волейбольна Суперліга) is the top men's league of Ukrainian volleyball. It was founded in 1992. It is run by the Volleyball Federation of the Ukraine (FVU). Before, the Ukrainian teams played in the championship of the USSR, founded in 1933. During the seasons 1991/92-1999/00 called the Premier League ( uk, Волейбольна Вища ліга). Between leagues at the end of each season, the teams exchanged - the worst two (one - directly, the second - in the case of unsuccessful performance in the play-off matches) are eliminated in the relegation - they occupy a place of lower league teams.
