Christian Tattersfield is the founder of Good Soldier Songs and previously served as the CEO of Warner Music UK and as chairman of Warner Bros. Records UK. Early career Tattersfield began his career in music at London Records in 1990, establishing new labels Systematic and Internal. In 1997, he moved to BMG where he founded the NorthWestSide imprint, whose signings included Jay-Z, Another Level and NSYNC. Tattersfield founded 14th Floor Records in 2002 as a joint venture with Warner Music UK, where he signed Biffy Clyro, the Wombats, Damien Rice and Ray LaMontagne. Good Soldier Songs & Good Soldier Records Tattersfield founded Good Soldier Songs, a recording and music publishing company, based in Tileyard Studios. Gavin James (singer-songwriter)
Gavin Wigglesworth, known professionally as Gavin James, is an Irish singer-songwriter. In March 2013 and March 2016, he won two Choice Music Prize Irish Song of the Year award. Early life Gavin was born in Dublin on 5 July 1991 and grew up in a household surrounded by music. Gavins' dad would play Cat Stevens, Sam Cooke and Bob Dylan whilst his sister Emma sang and toured with a musical in Ireland. James' great-grandparents were opera singers and his grandfather was a stand-up comedian and whistler. James began playing music in a rock band at the age of 8 and writing his own songs. The rock band was short lived, after a falling out over an alleged "paranormal experience". However James continued to perform solo, playing numerous gigs for years and building his audience. Coasts (band)
Coasts was an English rock band formed in Bristol in 2011. The group consisted of Chris Caines (vocals), Liam Willford (guitar), James Gamage (bass), David Goulbourn (keyboards) and Ben Street (drums). They are most notable for achieving two UK top 40 albums, the second of which reached the top 20. They are also known for their singles "A Rush of Blood" and "Oceans". "A Rush of Blood" was named Zane Lowe's 'Hottest Record' in October 2014. The single has also featured on ''Made in Chelsea''. Mike Crossey (born 1979) is a Northern Irish record producer, songwriter, and mixing engineer. He produced the debut single by Arctic Monkeys, collaborating with them over two albums. He is known for his ongoing relationship with The 1975 in addition to productions with Jeremy Zucker, Twenty One Pilots, Walk the Moon, LANY, LAUV, Foals, Keane, Jake Bugg, The Gaslight Anthem, MUNA, Wolf Alice, Yungblud. Does It Offend You, Yeah? are a British dance-punk band from Reading, Berkshire. They played what was to be their final show on 12 December 2015 at the Electric Ballroom, Camden Town. In September 2021, they announced a new album, titled ''We Do Our Own Stunts''. History Does It Offend You, Yeah?, named after a quote from the BBC television series ''The Office'', were formed in 2006 in Reading, UK by James Rushent and Dan Coop and soon joined by Rob Bloomfield and Morgan Quaintance. Jodie Abacus is an English musician from Lewisham in South East London. His musical styles include R&B, soul, electronic and funk. Career Jodie wrote "I’ll Be That Friend" in 2013 and uploaded it to his SoundCloud channel where it topped the Hype Machine charts and amassed over 100,000 plays. It was written while Jodie was in a dark point in his life, having caught life-threatening pneumonia and broken up with his long-term girlfriend at the same time.
