The Christian People's Party, Faroese Progress and Fisheries Party (KFFFF; fo, Kristiligi Fólkaflokkurin, Føroya Framburðs- og Fiskivinnuflokkur), generally known as the Christian People's Party (KF; fo, Kristiligi Fólkaflokkurin), was a political party in the Faroe Islands. History The party was established in the mid-1950s by dissidents from the People's Party, and was originally known as the Progress Party (''Framburðsflokkurin''). Although the Social Democratic Party remained the largest in the Folketing with 56 of the 179 seats, the Conservative People's Party achieved its best-ever result, gaining 16 seats.
