Christian Pampel
Christian Pampel (born 6 September 1979 in Gehrden) is a volleyball player from Germany. He currently plays and coaches at TSV Mimmenhausen. Career Christian Pampel started his career in Hochstetten in 1995. After three years in the Volleyball-boarding school Frankfurt, he went to the first division club VfB Friedrichshafenin 1999, won his first championship 2000, and made it to the final of the Champions League in 2000. In 2001, he won both the German championship and the German cup and took part at the European Volleyball Championship in the Czech Republic. In 2002, he won the German championship and cup again. In the following European Volleyball Championship in Germany he was one of the best players, second in the Top-Scorer Ranking and got elected German Volleyball-player of the year 2003. Volleyball Players At The 2008 Summer Olympics
Volleyball is a team sport in which two teams of six players are separated by a net. Each team tries to score points by grounding a ball on the other team's court under organized rules. It has been a part of the official program of the Summer Olympic Games since Tokyo 1964. Beach volleyball was introduced to the programme at the Atlanta 1996. The adapted version of volleyball at the Summer Paralympic Games is sitting volleyball. The complete set of rules is extensive, but play essentially proceeds as follows: a player on one of the teams begins a 'rally' by serving the ball (tossing or releasing it and then hitting it with a hand or arm), from behind the back boundary line of the court, over the net, and into the receiving team's court. FIVB Volleyball Men's Club World Championship
The FIVB Volleyball Men's Club World Championship is an international men's club volleyball competition organised by the '' Fédération Internationale de Volleyball'' (FIVB), the sport's global governing body. The competition was first contested in 1989 in Italy. It was not held between 1993 and 2008, but since 2009, the competition has been held every year, and has been hosted by Qatar and Brazil except in 2017 and 2018 where both hosted by Poland. Al-Arabi Sports Club ( ar, النادي العربي الرياضي) is a Qatari sports club based in Doha. Founded in 1952, the most prominent team of the club is the football team that competes in the Qatar Stars League. The club's home ground is the 13,000-seat Grand Hamad Stadium, where they have played since their establishment. Al-Arabi had their first major success in 1978, winning the Emir of Qatar Cup, and won various titles during the 1980s and 1990s.
