Christian Heritage Classical School (CHCS) is a coeducational private school with Christian affiliations in Longview, Texas. It was founded in 1994, and offers classes from four-year-old kindergarten to the twelfth grade. Its enrollment is c. 300 students, with its mascot being the Sentinel. Location CHCS is located north of Longview, Texas on a 10-acre campus. Facilities include a science lab, library, a football/ soccer field, and an indoor basketball court. Academics The average staff to student ratio at CHCS is c. 1:15. CHCS offers multiple College Board Advanced Placement (AP) courses, and has had a high percentage of students receive National Merit honors compared to other schools in the area. Edwall, Washington
Edwall is a small unincorporated community located about 35 miles from the city of Spokane in Lincoln County, Washington, United States. Edwall is part of the Reardan-Edwall School District. The former Edwall School is now owned by the Parks and Recreation District and leased to Christian Heritage School, a private non-denominational school. In February 2014 record rain caused the small Creek to overflow and flood the center of town and causing permanent damage and closure to Edwall's post office. Edwall also has an active United Methodist Church congregation, Men's Service Club, Women in Action Committee, volunteer fire/emergency medical crew, and a volunteer-run library located in the original one-room wood-frame schoolhouse. Christian Heritage School is a private, coeducational, college preparatory Christian school located in Tyler, Texas. The school houses grades from Kindergarten to Grade 12 and currently has a total school enrollment of approximately 200 students. School history In the late 1970s, the evangelical Christian organization Youth With a Mission decided to establish a school for children to serve the greater Tyler, Texas area. The organization purchased a school building and site in the Dixie neighborhood of Southwest Tyler, directly behind Tyler Pounds Field Airport. The name of the school was Dixie School and had been built as a WPA project during the 1940s and had served the immediate area for almost 40 years.
