Churwalden is a municipality in the Plessur Region in the canton of Graubünden in Switzerland. It incorporates the former municipalities of Malix and Parpan. Heini Hemmi (born 17 January 1949) is a Swiss former alpine skier, winner of the giant slalom competition at the 1976 Winter Olympics. He also won the Giant Slalom World Cup 1976-77. The FIS Alpine Ski World Cup is the top international circuit of alpine skiing competitions, launched in 1966 by a group of ski racing friends and experts which included French journalist Serge Lang and the alpine ski team directors from France (Honore Bonnet) and the USA ( Bob Beattie).
