Christian Gaudin (handballer)
Christian Gaudin (born 26 January 1967) is a former French international handball player and current handball coach. He has served as the manager of the Romanian men's national team in 2014. Gaudin is currently working as the head coach of Cesson Rennes MHB since his appointment in the summer of 2018. Chenôve
Chenôve () is a Communes of France, commune in the Côte-d'Or Departments of France, department in the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region of France. Until 1955, it was a small scale wine-growing village, when it was absorbed into the urban conglomeration of Dijon. It is now the most populous suburb of the city of Dijon, located adjacent to the city's southwest side. With about 14,000 inhabitants, Chenôve is the third largest urban area in the Côte-d'Or and the second largest economy in Dijon. Local Cheneveliers (residents of Chenôve) call themselves the "bombis", which is patois for "good bread". Geography To the west of Chenôve, above the old town, is the Plateau of Chenôve, which reaches an altitude of 387 m. LNH Division 1
LNH Division 1, doing business as Starligue and currently known as Liqui Moly Starligue for sponsorship reasons, is the premier men's professional handball league in France. It is administered by the Ligue Nationale de Handball, under delegation from the French Handball Federation. Founded in 1952, it is currently contested by 16 teams. Montpellier Handball is the most successful club with 14 titles, and the club which won the most consecutive titles is Paris Saint-Germain with 8 between 2015 and 2022. The champion and the vice-champion are directly qualified for the group phase of the EHF Champions League. The winners of the Coupe de France and the Coupe de la Ligue are qualified for the European League. If the winner of (one of) these cups is also the champion, the place(s) are attributed in terms of the Division 1 ranking. Since 2016, the league has had a title sponsor. IHF World Men's Handball Championship
The IHF Men's Handball World Championship has been organized indoor by the International Handball Federation since 1938. In the twenty-seven tournaments held, eleven nations have won the title.
