Christian Erlandsen
Christian Erlandsen (2 March 1926, Aker – 10 October 2016) was a Norwegian physician and politician for the Conservative Party. He was elected to the Norwegian Parliament from Hedmark in 1977, and was re-elected on one occasion. He later served as a deputy representative during the term 1989–1993. On the local level he was a member of Stange municipal council from 1963 to 1977 and 1987 to 1995. From 1975 to 1979 and 1987 to 1999 he was a deputy member of Hedmark county council. He chaired the local party chapter from 1994 to 1999. Aker, Norway
Aker was a former independent municipality in Akershus, Norway, that constitutes the vast majority of the territory of the modern city of Oslo. The name originally belonged to a farm which was located near the current Old Aker Church. The church in turn became the source of the name of the parish and later municipality as well as Akershus Fortress, the main fief and main county of Akershus which included most of Eastern Norway until 1919, the smaller county of Akershus, and numerous institutions within this area. Aker municipality was in terms of population by far the largest municipality of Akershus county and surrounded the capital city of Christiania (renamed Oslo in 1925) until 1948; Aker was 27 times larger than the capital it surrounded. In the late 19th century Aker ceded some of its territory to Christiania, and in 1948 Aker merged completely with Oslo municipality to create the modern, vastly enlarged Oslo municipality. Hedmark () was a county in Norway before 1 January 2020, bordering Trøndelag to the north, Oppland to the west, Akershus to the south, and Sweden to the east. The county administration is in Hamar. Hedmark and Oppland counties were merged into Innlandet county on 1 January 2020, when Norway's former 19 counties became 10 bigger counties / regions Hedmark made up the northeastern part of Østlandet, the southeastern part of the country. It had a long border with Sweden to the east ( Dalarna County and Värmland County). The largest lakes were Femunden and Mjøsa, the largest lake in Norway. Parts of Glomma, Norway's longest river, flowed through Hedmark. A county council ( no, Fylkesting) is the highest governing body of a county municipality (''fylkeskommune'') in Norway. The county council sets the scope of the county municipal activity.
