Christian Bassila
Christian Armel Bassila (born 5 October 1977) is a French former professional association football, footballer who played as a defensive midfielder or centre-back. He is the director of INF Clairefontaine's youth sector. Club career Born in Paris, Basilla started his career with the reigning Ligue 1 champions Olympique Lyonnais, Lyon in the 1996–97 season, before joining Stade Rennais F.C., Rennes. Bassila rarely featured in the Rennes first team and was sent on a season-long loan to West Ham United F.C., West Ham United in August 2000. However, he failed to cement a first-team place at the East London side either and the following season he joined RC Strasbourg, Strasbourg on another season-long loan. After enjoying regular first-team action there he signed permanently and spent the next three seasons there. He was on the bench when Strasbourg won the 2005 Coupe de la Ligue Final. Defensive Midfielder
A midfielder is an outfield position in association football. Midfielders may play an exclusively defensive role, breaking up attacks, and are in that case known as defensive midfielders. Coupe De France
The Coupe de France, formerly known as the Coupe Charles Simon, is the premier knockout cup competition in French football organized by the French Football Federation (FFF). It was first held in 1917 and is open to all amateur and professional football clubs in France, including clubs based in the overseas departments and territories. Between 1917 and 1919, the competition was called the Coupe Charles Simon, in tribute of Charles Simon, a French sportsman and the founder of the French Interfederal Committee (the ancestor of the French Football Federation), who died in 1915 while serving in World War I. The final is played at the Stade de France and the winner qualifies for the group stage of the UEFA Europa League and a place in the Trophée des Champions match. UEFA Intertoto Cup
The UEFA Intertoto Cup (from la, Inter, 'between' + german: toto, 'betting pool'),Most precisely, from (football pool); cf. often abbreviated and more known in the German-speaking world as UI Cup and originally called the International Football Cup, was a summer football competition. The competition was discontinued after the 2008 tournament. Teams who originally would have entered the Intertoto Cup now directly enter the qualifying stages of the UEFA Europa League from this point. The tournament was founded in 1961–62, but was only taken over by UEFA in 1995. Initially, the tournament ended with a single champion, who received the Intertoto Cup. Matt Devlin Moussilou Massamba (born 1 June 1982) is a professional footballer who plays as a striker for FC Meyrin. Born in France, he has been capped by Congo at international level. Club career On 2 April 2005, he scored four goals for Lille in a 8–0 win over Istres, including a hat-trick in four minutes to be the fastest in Ligue 1 history. Lucien Yann Sherril Aubey (born 24 May 1984) is a Congolese former footballer who played as a defender. Career Aubey was born in Brazzaville, Republic of the Congo. He confirmed he wanted to leave Toulouse after eight years of service with them, and joined finally Racing Club de Lens (5 July).
