Christi Malthouse
Christi Malthouse (born 1976) is an Australian journalist. Career Malthouse was a journalist for Network Ten and is the daughter of Mick Malthouse, former Australian rules football player and the former coach of the Western Bulldogs, West Coast Eagles, Collingwood and Carlton Football Clubs in the AFL. In addition to her boundary-riding role for Ten's Australian Football League coverage, Christi has also been a sports presenter for ''Ten News'' and appeared on shows such as ''9am with David and Kim'' as a health and fitness reporter, and ''Before The Game''. She also hosted the football lifestyle show ''Beyond the Boundary''. Malthouse went on maternity leave in late 2008. She returned in 2009, but didn't return to Ten's AFL coverage. She remained the main fill-in for Stephen Quartermain on Ten News Melbourne Sport. ''9am with David & Kim'' is an Australian morning show which premiered on Monday 30 January 2006 on Network Ten. It aired live from 9am - 11am weekdays, and was hosted by musician and former '' Getaway'' reporter David Reyne and former ''National Nine News'' presenter and journalist Kim Watkins. Fill in presenters have included Ann-Maree Biggar, Christi Malthouse, Corinne Grant, Kathryn Robinson, Stephen Quartermain and music mogul Ian Dickson. The program replaced long time morning program '' Good Morning Australia'' with Bert Newton, which finished in late 2005, after Bert Newton returned to the Nine Network. ''The AFL Sunday Footy Show'' is an Australian rules football program aired on the Nine Network on Sunday mornings at 10am to 12pm hosted by Tony Jones with a panel consisting of Damian Barrett, Nathan Brown, Matthew Lloyd and Kane Cornes. Stephen William Quartermain (born 7 May 1962) is an Australian television personality, journalist and presenter. Quartermain is currently a sport presenter on '' 10 News First'' in Melbourne. Early career Quartermain began his career as a cadet journalist with Leader Newspapers in January 1980.
