Christ the King Catholic Voluntary Academy (formerly Christ The King School) is a mixed Roman Catholic secondary school and sixth form located in Arnold, a town in the English ceremonial county of Nottinghamshire. It is one of three Catholic secondary schools in the Greater Nottingham area, along with The Becket School and Trinity School. An academy school in England is a state-funded school which is directly funded by the Department for Education and independent of local authority control. The terms of the arrangements are set out in individual Academy Funding Agreements. Most academies are secondary schools, though slightly more than 25% of primary schools (4,363 as of December 2017) are academies. Cambridge Nationals are a vocational qualification in the United Kingdom introduced by the OCR Examinations Board to replace the OCR Nationals. These are Level 1 and Level 2 qualifications for students aged 14 to 16 and are usually a two-year course. Cieron Macaully Keane (born 14 August 1996) is an Irish professional footballer who plays as a defender for Barwell. Club career Keane spent time at the Wolverhampton Wanderers youth team and signed his first scholarship in July 2012. However, after two years, Keane was released by the club in February 2014.
